Supply & Demand Chain Executive: Field Workers Say Decline in Productivity Due to Poor Training on Mobile Tech Tools
By Skyllful on March 10, 2021

Poor training on mobile technology tools such as apps and other mobile devices is cause for why productivity may be declining in some frontline workers, according to a study released by 451 Research, part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, and commissioned by Skyllful.
For example, 42% of new employees take six months or longer to add value at work, while 12% take a year or more. This means that training not just during the onboarding stage, but also throughout the employee’s time at the company is necessary.
From PR Web:
- The report suggests organizations re-assess the tools and techniques they use to ensure that workers are prepared and proficient regarding the technology needed to do their jobs.
- It’s also advised that companies look for tools and technologies with contextual training and in-app guidance that meet employees where they work.
