Introduction
Skyllful understands that privacy online is important to users of Skyllful’s Site and Platform, especially when conducting business.
This statement governs Skyllful’s privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site ("Visitors") and Platform ("Customers" and "Customer Users") who visit without transacting business and Visitors who register to transact business on the Site and make use of the various services offered by Skyllful.com (collectively, "Services") ("Authorized Customers").
"Personally Identifiable Information" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, email address, financial profiles, social security number, and credit card information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.
What Personally Identifiable Information is collected?
Skylklful may collect basic user profile information from all of Skyllful’s website Visitors. Skyllful collects the following additional information from Authorized Customer stakeholders: the names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses of Authorized Customers, and the nature and size of the business. Skyllful collects the following additional information from Authorized Customer Platform users: the names and email addresses of users. Customers can restrict this data capture to just anonymous IDs for the users.
What organizations are collecting the information?
In addition to Skyllful’s direct collection of information, third-party service vendors (such as credit card companies, analytics tools, customer service tools) may provide services to Skyllful’s Visitors and Authorized Customers. We do not control how these third parties use such information, but we do review and approve how they use personal information provided to them as part of Skyllful’s Vendor Security Policies.
How does the Site use Personally Identifiable Information?
Skyllful uses Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Site experience. We may email Visitors and Authorized Customers about opportunities to use the Skyllful Platform, user research related to the subject matter of the Site. Skyllful may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Visitors and Authorized Customers in response to specific inquiries or to provide requested information.
How does the Platform use Personally Identifiable Information?
Skyllful uses Personally Identifiable Information to track the training progress of Skyllful Platform users. Customers input this Personally Identifiable Information directly or through system integrations such as an identity management system. Customers can minimize this data to just anonymous IDs at their discretion.
Consent to Use of Data
Skyllful may collect and use stored information gathered as part of its support services but may only use this information to improve its products and services. Skyllful shall not use, store, process, or disclose any of this information in a form that personally identifies Customers, Authorized Users, or clients. Skyllful may also use such non-identifiable data in connection with certain Subscription Services for the purpose of improving its products.
How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?
Personally Identifiable Information collected by Skyllful is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of Skyllful except for use as indicated in Skyllful’s Security Policies found in the Skyllful Trust Center.
What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use, and distribution of the information?
Visitors and Authorized Customers may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from or being contacted by Skyllful by contacting Skyllful at privacy@skyllful.com.
Are Cookies used on the Site?
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. Skyllful uses Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of Visitors and the services they select. When you visit or log in to the Skyllful website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We may then send communications and marketing to these emails. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by emailing privacy@skyllful.com. How does the Skyllful Platform use Login Information and Cookies?
Skyllful uses login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Platform, and track a user's movement and use in the Platform.
What partners or service providers have access to Personally Identifiable Information?
Skyllful has entered into and will continue to enter into partnerships and other affiliations with a number of vendors. Such vendors may have access to certain Personally Identifiable Information on a need-to-know basis in the rendering of their services. Our privacy policy does not cover their collection or use of this information.
Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to comply with law
Skyllful will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, or a request from a law enforcement agency. Skyllful will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Visitors and Authorized Customers.
How does the Site and Platform keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?
All of Skyllful’s employees are familiar with Skyllful’s Security Policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. Skyllful audits security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or social security numbers, is protected by encryption protocols in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While Skyllful takes commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site and platform, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering, and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place. Skyllful will not be liable to Visitors or Authorized Customers for any such occurrences.
How can Visitors/Customers/Customer Users correct inaccuracies?
Visitors and Authorized Customers may contact Skyllful to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing Skyllful at privacy@skyllful.com.
Can Visitors/Customers/Customer Users delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information?
Skyllful provides Visitors and Authorized Customers with a mechanism to delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site's database by contacting privacy@skyllful.com. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete an entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and Skyllful will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
Data Retention and Deletion Policy
Upon termination or expiration of the applicable agreement, Skyllful will discontinue all active use of Subscriber Content within ten (10) days of the effective date. For a period of thirty (30) days following the effective date, Skyllful will retain Subscriber Content solely to allow the Customer to export it upon written request. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to export and retain any content it wishes to preserve. Customers may also submit a written deletion request to privacy@skyllful.com at any time following termination or expiration. Skyllful will use commercially reasonable efforts to complete deletion within thirty (30) business days of receipt of a valid written request. Upon the earlier of the expiration of the thirty (30) day export window or completion of a written deletion request, Skyllful will destroy all copies of Subscriber Content in its possession or control. Following destruction, residual copies may remain in system backup archives for a limited additional period, after which they are purged in the ordinary course of business.
Skyllful maintains records of Customer data deletion requests, including the date of the request, the scope of data subject to deletion, and the date on which deletion was completed. These records are retained for compliance and audit purposes but do not include the deleted data itself.
Upon request, Skyllful will provide written confirmation to the Customer that their data has been deleted in accordance with this policy.
Data deletion may be delayed if the data is subject to a legal obligation or investigation. Skyllful will only engage subprocessors whose standard terms or applicable enterprise agreements provide data handling protections materially consistent with this policy.
What happens if the Privacy Policy changes?
Skyllful will let Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to the privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if Skyllful changes the privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorized Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, Skyllful will contact such Visitor or Authorized Customer to allow them to prevent such disclosure.
Children’s Privacy
This Site and Platform are not directed at children. Visitors and Authorized Customers are required to be eighteen years or older.
