Use Replicas in a Lesson
Using screen Replicas to build a Skyllful Lesson lets Content Developers and Instructional Designers turn a source video into interactive screens, and this article explains what Replicas are and how to create a Lesson from them.
What are screen Replicas?
Screen Replicas are core to how you build Lessons in Skyllful. These interactive screens let Learners experience the systems they use in a safe, controlled environment.
You can capture Replicas from a video source or from still images. You can use them to create a new Lesson, or add them to an existing Lesson.
How do you use Replicas to build a Lesson?

| 1 | From the Home screen, select your Learning Program using the Hamburger Menu, or from the Learning Programs Card. |
| 2 | In your Learning Program, upload a source video to Replica Video Capture. |
| 3 | Capture screenshots from the video. |
| 4 | Once you capture all the screenshots, select [Create Lesson]. To add the screens to an existing Lesson instead, select [Append to Lesson]. | 5 | In the Create Lesson prompt, enter the Lesson name and select a Course and a Module. |

What if you cannot use a Replica in a Lesson?
Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
