User Management Overview

User Management in Skyllful Studio is where administrators view, add, edit, filter, and organize the Studio, IQ, and Simulator users in a Learning Program.

Who are the three types of Skyllful users?

Skyllful groups users by the component they work in:

User type What they do
Studio Users Use Skyllful Studio to design and manage training content.
IQ Users Use Skyllful IQ for reporting, analytics, and administrative tools.
Simulator Users Complete training as Learners in the Skyllful Simulator on their assigned devices.

A single person can hold more than one type. Their access is set on the user's profile (see [LINK TO: User Permissions]).


How do you open the User Management screen?

The User Management screen is where administrators view, filter, search, edit, and manage user records for a Learning Program.

1 From the Skyllful homepage, open the Learning Program you want to manage.
2 On the Learning Program Overview, scroll to Quick Links and click Users.
3 The User Management screen opens, showing all users in that Learning Program.

How do you filter and organize users?

The screen has two tabs, Users and Auto-Enrollment Links. On the Users tab you can filter by:

Filter What it does
Access Levels Filters users by the components they can access: All Active, IQ, Simulator, Studio, or Deactivated Users.
Category Filters users by your organization's structure, such as Job Role, Location, Manager, Market, Region, Assignment, or Authentication Type. Your categories depend on how your organization set up Skyllful.
Keyword (Filter box) Searches by name, email, or other details and returns exact and close matches.

What do the user fields mean?

Identity, access, and login

Field What it means
First Name / Last Name The user's name.
Email / Username Used to sign in and for correspondence.
Person Number Your organization's internal ID number for the user.
Access Levels Which components the user can open: Simulator (Learners), IQ (Analytics), Studio (Design & Admin).
Authentication Type How the user signs in: SSO (Single Sign-On) or Skyllful Authentication.
Last Login When the user last signed in.

Field What it means
Manager The user's assigned manager.
Job Role The user's title or function in your organization.
Region / Market / Warehouse / Location Customizable fields that match your organization's structure.
Tags Labels used to identify, group, and sort users. Apply as many as you need.

What can you do in User Management?

FAQ

Where is User Management in Skyllful? Open a Learning Program, then click Users under Quick Links.

What is the difference between Studio, IQ, and Simulator users? Studio Users build content, IQ Users view analytics, and Simulator Users complete training as Learners. A person can be more than one type.

Can I filter users by access level? Yes. Use the Access Levels filter to show All Active, IQ, Simulator, Studio, or Deactivated Users.
