Translating Individual Text Fields
Translate lesson text fields one at a time.
The Side-by-Side Translations view lets you translate one text field at a time, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how to open the view, translate a field, and save your work.
How do you open the Side-by-Side Translations view?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Select the language selector at the upper right of the Studio UI. |
| 2 | Click Review to open the Side-by-Side Translations view. |
| 3 | Confirm the view shows both the original and translated version of each field. |
How do you translate a text field?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Locate the text field you want to translate. |
| 2 | Click the Translate button between the original and translation fields. |
| 3 | Wait a few seconds while Skyllful generates the translation. |
How do you save translations?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Review each translation for accuracy. |
| 2 | Click Update to save your work. |
| 3 | Confirm the translations are stored and applied in the Lesson structure. |

What if it doesn’t work as expected?
Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
