Translating Individual Text Fields

Translate lesson text fields one at a time.

The Side-by-Side Translations view lets you translate one text field at a time, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how to open the view, translate a field, and save your work.


How do you open the Side-by-Side Translations view?

Step Action
1 Select the language selector at the upper right of the Studio UI.
2 Click Review to open the Side-by-Side Translations view.
3 Confirm the view shows both the original and translated version of each field.

How do you translate a text field?

Step Action
1 Locate the text field you want to translate.
2 Click the Translate button between the original and translation fields.
3 Wait a few seconds while Skyllful generates the translation.

How do you save translations?

Step Action
1 Review each translation for accuracy.
2 Click Update to save your work.
3 Confirm the translations are stored and applied in the Lesson structure.

What if it doesn’t work as expected?

Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
