Sharing Lessons
Share assignments and lessons via links and QR codes.
Article Overview
You can share direct access to assignments and Lessons with links and QR codes, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how to copy assignment links, generate QR codes, link to individual Lessons, and preview those links.
What can you share?
Skyllful Studio lets you share direct access to assignments and Lessons using URLs and QR codes. These links work across the Skyllful Web, iOS, and Android Simulators and can be copied from Assignment Settings. For example, in a digital study guide for field technicians you can embed:
- A direct link that opens the relevant assignment in the Simulator
- A QR code learners scan to jump straight into a Lesson
This removes the need for manual navigation or written instructions.
How do you copy a link to an assignment?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Go to Assignment Settings in Studio. |
| 2 | Scroll to the URLs section. |
| 3 | Click Copy Link to copy the assignment URL to your clipboard. |

|---|---|
| 1 | In the same URLs section, click Copy QR Code. |
| 2 | The QR image is copied to your clipboard. |
| 3 | Paste it into documents, emails, or study guides (for example, Word files). |
Learners can scan the code with a mobile camera or the Skyllful Simulator’s built-in QR scanner.
How do you link to an individual Lesson?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | In Assignment Settings, open the Lessons tab. |
| 2 | Find the Lesson and click to copy its link or QR code. |
The Lesson must be published for the link or code to work.
How do you preview links as a Studio user?
For links to work as intended:
- The assignment must be active (within its availability date range).
- The Lesson must be published.
- You must be assigned to the assignment as a Learner.
What if it doesn’t work as expected?
Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
