Preview an Assignment in Simulator

Administrators preview an assignment in Skyllful Simulator by adding themselves as a learner and opening it, so they can test the learner experience before publishing.

How do you add yourself to the assignment?

Step Action
1 In Studio, open the assignment you want to preview.
2 Select the Learners tab.
3 Click the plus (+) icon to add a learner.
4 Find your own user record using search or filters.
5 Click Update to save.
6 Refresh the Studio page so Simulator recognizes the change.

How do you open it in Simulator?

Step Action
1 Open the hamburger menu (☰) in Studio.
2 Expand your Learning Program.
3 Select the Simulator tab.
4 Find the assignment and click its name to launch it.

What should you check while previewing?

Verify lesson flow, media, and completion logic before publishing. Test under different roles for different user types, and remove yourself as a learner afterward so you do not skew usage reports.
