Lesson Versions Dashboard

The Lesson Versions Dashboard tracks how a single Lesson performs across each published version, and it now keeps a labeled version history with a Change Log so you can see who changed what, compare results, and roll back when needed.

What is the Lesson Versions Dashboard?

It shows how one Lesson has performed across each of its published versions, so you can compare results before and after a change.

How do you open it?

Select a Lesson name from the Lessons Dashboard.

How do you read the versions view?

Each published version appears as its own row, most recent at the top. Every row shows Total Incorrect, Total Attempts, and a color-coded cell for each step.

Every time a Lesson is published, Skyllful assigns it a new version number. Older versions may show -- for steps that did not exist when that version was active.

How are versions labeled?

Each time you update or publish a Lesson, Skyllful saves a labeled version. Every version shows:

  • The version number.
  • The editor's initials.
  • The date and time of the change.

Versions also carry a status so you can tell them apart: Published, Latest, and Latest Published.

What is the Change Log?

The Change Log shows what changed between versions. You can filter it by contributor or by step, so you can quickly see who changed a step and when.

How do bulk actions affect versions?

Bulk actions, such as voiceover, prompt, or translation changes, automatically create traceable versions. Because each bulk change is saved as its own version, you can roll back to an earlier version if a change did not work as expected.

What can you do from a version row?

Use the three-dot menu on a version to:

  • View that version in the Lesson Builder.
  • Preview that version as Learners experienced it, in Walkthrough, Practice, or Knowledge Check mode.
  • Roll back to that version.

How is filtering different here?

The filtering options mirror the main Lessons Dashboard, except that View Lesson Data For is not available here, because the data is already organized by version.

How do you use this data?

Compare performance across versions to confirm whether a content change reduced incorrect actions. If a newer version shows lower error rates on the steps you revised, the change worked. If it did not, use the Change Log to see what changed, then roll back to the earlier version.
