Select Elements with the Lasso Tool

The Lasso tool in Replica Maker quickly selects and groups elements on a screen, including non-adjacent ones, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how to select, multi-select, and deselect elements.

How do you select elements with the Lasso tool?

Step Action
1 Select the Lasso icon in the Replica Maker toolbar.
2 Click and drag to draw a freeform selection around the elements you want to group.

Note: The Lasso tool groups the selected elements so you can act on them in bulk.

How do you select elements from different areas?

Step Action
1 Hold the Shift key.
2 While you hold Shift, draw additional lasso selections around the other elements.

How do you deselect elements?

Step Action
1 Click anywhere outside the selected area to reset your selection.

What if the Lasso tool does not work?

Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
