Language Translation Overview

How Skyllful translation supports multilingual learning.

Skyllful’s translation tools let you deliver Lessons in multiple languages, and this overview explains what translation can do, the key features, and what to keep in mind, for Content Developers and Instructional Designers.

What does translation do in Skyllful?

Skyllful’s translation tools let you deliver Lessons in multiple languages to support diverse Learner populations, so teams across regions receive consistent training in their local language. Translation helps you:

  • Provide accessible training for global teams
  • Support compliance and standardization across regions
  • Minimize duplicate content creation
  • Maintain consistency with one Lesson structure across languages

What are the key translation features?

Feature What it does
Enable Language Access Turns on new languages within a Learning Program so content can be viewed, translated, and managed in each target language. A yellow flag marks any course, module, or Lesson that’s missing a translation.
AI Translation Tools Generate translations with Skyllful’s AI engine. An asterisk (*) marks AI-generated text that still needs human QC; remove it once a translator verifies the text.
Screen Text Translation Translate editable elements on captured screens, such as button labels and input fields.
Preview Modes See how a Lesson will appear in each language before releasing it to Learners.
Localized UI Skyllful’s built-in buttons and system elements (for example, “Next” and “Back”) are already translated.

What should you keep in mind?

  • Screen images stay the same: You can’t upload different screen captures per language. Remove text baked into images or overlay it with editable fields.
  • Human review still matters: AI translations are a starting point; review key content for clarity and tone.
  • Not everything auto-translates: Embedded media, linked web content, and external files may need to be localized separately.
