Skyllful IQ Overview
Skyllful IQ is the analytics component of the Skyllful Platform, and this article covers what the dashboard measures, how it is scoped to one Assignment at a time, how the Assignment's type changes what it reports, and the three lenses that organize it.
What is Skyllful IQ?
Skyllful IQ is the analytics component of the Skyllful Platform. It reports on how your frontline workforce is moving through training and how ready they are to do the work, and it presents that in one dashboard rather than in exports you have to assemble yourself.
IQ answers two standing questions for a training program: how far along are we, and who or what needs attention right now.
What is the IQ dashboard scoped to?
One Assignment at a time. IQ does not report across your whole Learning Program at once. You open the dashboard for a specific Assignment, and everything on the screen belongs to that Assignment.
The selector at the top left of the dashboard lists every Assignment you have IQ access to, across every Learning Program. Choosing a different one reloads the dashboard against that Assignment.
Note: This is why two Assignments built from the same content can show very different numbers. They have different Learners, different dates, and different progress.
Does every Assignment report the same things?
No. Each Assignment has a type, chosen in Skyllful Studio when it is built, and the type changes what the dashboard reports and which figures appear at all.
A Campaign has one deadline shared by every Learner, so it reports a countdown and a schedule status. New Hire and JITT Assignments have no shared deadline and measure each Learner against their own timeline. A Reference Assignment reports what is being used rather than how far along anyone is, and shows no Readiness or Complete figure at all.
Check the type before you interpret anything on the dashboard, and check it on the radio button in Skyllful Studio rather than on the Assignment's name, because names drift from what an Assignment actually is. See How Assignment Type Changes Your IQ Dashboard.
What is on screen no matter which lens you are in?
Two bands sit above the lenses and stay put as you move between them.

Readiness and Complete are the two roll-up numbers for the group in view. They are read together, but they do not measure the same thing.

| Readiness | Depth of engagement, measured one mode at a time rather than one Lesson at a time. Learning events and Knowledge Checks are weighted equally, so partial progress through a Lesson still registers. |
That difference is why the two numbers rarely match. A group can sit well short of Complete while Readiness shows real progress, because Learners are part way through Lessons rather than finished with them. What are the three IQ lenses?
IQ organizes its analytics into three lenses, shown as tabs. Each answers a different question, and you move between them to shift focus from the program as a whole down to one Learner.

Switching lenses does not change the Assignment or the view. You are looking at the same population three ways.

Note: The counters on the Overview and Curriculum lenses, and the yellow and red highlighting on them, come from thresholds set on each Assignment rather than from a company-wide standard. Two Assignments can report the same Learner behavior differently. See Set IQ Thresholds for an Assignment.
Who uses Skyllful IQ?
IQ is for the Administrators, Managers and Analysts responsible for a training program rather than the Learners taking it.

Learners do not use IQ. They complete their training in the Skyllful Simulator, and their activity is what IQ reports on.
Note: The Learners lens filters and reports by manager, which is why every Learner needs a manager assigned, and why that manager has to be a user with IQ access. See Add a User.
FAQ
Why does IQ show a different set of Learners than my Learning Program does?
Because IQ is scoped to an Assignment, not to the Learning Program. It shows the Learners enrolled in the Assignment you selected, which is usually a subset of every Learner in the Learning Program.
Can I see two Assignments side by side?
No. The dashboard shows one Assignment at a time. Switch between them with the selector at the top left.
Why do Readiness and Complete not match?
They measure different things, so they move independently. How Complete and Readiness Are Calculated works through both.
This dashboard has no countdown and no schedule status. Is something missing?
No. Only a Campaign has one deadline shared by every Learner, so only a Campaign reports those.
I only manage part of the group. Can I filter to just them?
Yes. Build a Custom View for that segment, and the whole dashboard follows it. See Filter Your IQ Dashboard with Custom Views.
Where do I go to send a Learner a message about their progress?
Both the Overview and the Learners lens let you select Learners and click Send Selected A Message.
I need more detail on a Lesson than the Curriculum lens gives me.
The Curriculum lens tells you which Lesson and which mode. To see which step inside a Lesson is causing trouble, and whether a content change worked, use the Lessons Dashboard in Skyllful Studio.
