IQ: Learner Password Reset
For Skyllful-hosted learner accounts that sign in with a username and password, this article shows administrators how to reset a learner's password from within Skyllful IQ.
When can you reset a learner's password in IQ?
Password reset in IQ is available only for Skyllful-hosted learner accounts that sign in with a username and password. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO) through an identity provider such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta, the reset option does not appear — those passwords are managed in your identity provider, not in Skyllful.
How do you reset a learner's password?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Use the search icon to find the learner by name or employee ID. |
| 2 | Open the learner's profile. |
| 3 | Enter a temporary password in the password fields. It must be 4 to 64 characters; no capitals, numbers, or symbols are required. |
| 4 | Click Reset Password to apply the change. |
What happens after you reset it?
Give the learner the temporary password. The next time they sign in, they are prompted to create their own password and answer three security questions.
