Check Content Performance with the Curriculum Lens
The Overview and Learners lenses tell you which Learners are behind, and the Curriculum lens tells you whether the content is the reason, using four counters that surface the Knowledge Checks, Practices, Walkthroughs and Videos that are not working as intended.
Why would you open the Curriculum lens?
The Overview and Learners lenses tell you which Learners are behind. Neither tells you why. When several Learners stall in the same place, the content is often the cause rather than the Learners, and the Curriculum lens is where that shows up.
It surfaces four things: Knowledge Checks that Learners are failing, Practices where they are choosing the wrong action, Walkthroughs they are racing through, and Videos they are skipping. Each one points at a Lesson you can do something about.
What is on the Curriculum lens?
Click Curriculum, the middle tab of the three lenses. The Assignment and the Custom View you have applied stay as they are, so you are looking at the same population from a different angle.
Four counters run across the top, each with a see more link. Below them, each counter has its own section containing a heading, a one line description, a table of the Lessons it found, and a chart.
Every row in those tables names a Lesson with its Module underneath, followed by the figure that put it on the list. A table with nothing to report shows No data.

Note: Two of the four counters are worded differently from the section heading beneath them, so search for either. The second one matters most: the counter says Lessons, but the section and the measurement are about Practice mode specifically.
Where do the percentages in the descriptions come from?
The sentence under each heading states the threshold in force, for example "Walkthroughs that were executed 25% faster or more than the estimated time."
That figure is not a fixed Skyllful standard. It is generated from the IQ Settings on this Assignment, which means two Assignments can list different Lessons from identical Learner behaviour because they are set to watch for different things.
Note: When you want to know what counts as a high fail rate on the Assignment in front of you, read the sentence under the heading. It is always current for that Assignment. There is no company-wide figure to look up.
How do you message the Lesson designers?
Message Lesson Designers sits directly beneath a counter's table. Use it when the data says the content needs a second look rather than the Learner does.
Note: The button appears only under a table that found something. A counter sitting at 0 has no button beneath it, so if you cannot find Message Lesson Designers anywhere on the lens, the likely reason is that nothing on this Assignment has crossed a threshold yet.
What should you do with what you find?
The Curriculum lens tells you which Lesson is causing trouble and in which mode. It does not tell you where inside the Lesson things go wrong.
For that, move to the Lessons Dashboard in Skyllful Studio. It breaks a Lesson down step by step, shows which steps draw the most incorrect actions, compares published versions so you can confirm a fix worked, and opens a heatmap of where Learners actually tapped on a given step.
Note: The knowledge base has a separate area called Analyze Lesson Performance, which covers the Lessons Dashboard. The names are close and the tools are not the same. This lens sits in Skyllful IQ and reports on one Assignment's Learners. The Lessons Dashboard sits in Skyllful Studio, opens from the Learning Program, and works on the Lesson itself.
The two answer different questions and it is worth knowing which one you need.

A reasonable working order is to start here, identify the Lesson and the mode, then open the Lessons Dashboard to find the step, revise, and come back once Learners have worked the new version.
FAQ
All four counters read 0. Is the lens working? Probably yes. A counter at 0 means nothing on this Assignment has crossed its threshold. Check the thresholds on the Assignment's IQ Settings if you expected something to appear.
Why does one of my Assignments list a Lesson and another does not, when it is the same Lesson? The two Assignments have different IQ Settings thresholds, different Learners, or both. The Lesson has not changed; what each Assignment is watching for has.
Does the Custom View I applied affect this lens? Yes. All three lenses report on the segment you have applied until you switch views.
A Lesson appears under "Sped Through" Walkthroughs. Does that mean Learners cheated? Not necessarily. It means they finished faster than the estimate. That can mean the estimate is too generous, the content is easier than expected, or Learners are clicking through without reading. The Lessons Dashboard is where you find out which.
Can I stop Learners fast forwarding Videos instead of just measuring it? Yes. Each Lesson row on an Assignment carries a Disable Fast Forward for Videos and Talkthroughs control in Skyllful Studio.
Why does the counter say Lessons but the section says Practices? They are the same measurement, worded differently in two places. It counts incorrect actions in Practice mode.
