How to Publish Content

Article Overview

You can publish or unpublish Lessons, modules, and courses from several places in Studio, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how.

How do you publish or unpublish a Lesson?

From the Lesson Builder: Click [Publish Version] to publish. A Lesson can’t be edited while published—click [Unpublish] to make edits.

From the Courses Overview:

Step	Action
1	Select your program from the main menu / Courses Overview or the Learning Programs panel.
2	On the Learning Programs page, select your Course.
3	Select your Module.
4	In the Lessons panel, click the kebab menu (•••) and choose Publish or Unpublish.

How do you publish or unpublish a module?

Step	Action
1	Select your program from the main menu / Courses Overview or the Learning Programs panel.
2	On the Learning Programs page, select your Course.
3	In the Modules panel, click the kebab menu (•••) and choose Publish or Unpublish.

1	Select your program from the main menu / Courses Overview or the Learning Programs panel.
2	On the Learning Programs page, select your Course.
3	In the Courses panel, click the kebab menu (•••) and choose Publish or Unpublish.

What if it doesn’t work as expected?

Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
