Filter and Focus the Step-by-Step Grid
A Learning Program with a hundred published Lessons puts thousands of cells on one screen, and the controls above the grid exist to cut that down to the question you are actually asking, whether that is one Assignment, one job role, or one person's content.
Why narrow the grid?
A Learning Program with a hundred published Lessons and thirty step columns puts several thousand cells in front of you at once. Scanning that for red works, but it answers only the broadest question, which is "is anything wrong anywhere".
Most real questions are narrower. Is the new hire content working. Are the delivery drivers struggling where the warehouse staff are not. Did the Lessons this designer built last quarter land. The controls above the grid are how you ask those instead.
What can you change?
Five controls sit above the grid, and they do two different jobs.

Best practice: Check View Lesson Data For before you trust anything on the screen. A Lesson you fixed months ago can still look red on All-Time, because the errors from the old version are still in the total.
How do you filter to a subset of Lessons?
Filter By builds a condition in three parts: a Category, an Operator, and a Value. Choose the category first, and the operator and value adjust to suit it, so a numeric category such as Fail Rate offers a comparison rather than a list to pick from.

Note: Lesson Creator and Lesson Editor are worth knowing about. They let you ask how one Lesson Creator's or Lesson Editor's content is performing, which is a question no other screen in Skyllful answers.
Note: The Learner categories draw on fields from the Learner records, so what you can filter by depends on how your organization fills those in. A category with nothing populated behind it has nothing to offer.
How do you find one Lesson?
Type its name into Search. Use this when you already know which Lesson you are investigating and only want its row.
clear resets the filter, putting Category, Operator and Value back to their unset state.
What order should you use them in?
The controls compound, and using them in a sensible order saves you re-reading the same grid three times.

FAQ
My filter returned nothing. Either no Lesson matches, or the category you chose has no values populated behind it. Click clear and try a broader category.
Why did the numbers change when I switched to Published Version Only? Because attempts at earlier versions of the Lesson dropped out of the count. That is usually the more honest view of content you have revised.
Can I apply more than one filter at once? The builder takes a category, an operator and a value. Use Search alongside it to narrow further by Lesson name.
Does filtering change the grid for anyone else? No. These controls change your own view and nothing else.
Why can I not filter by Region? The Learner categories depend on those fields being filled in on your Learner records. If nobody has a region, there is nothing to filter by.
What is the difference between Lesson Creator and Lesson Editor? Creator is who built the Lesson. Editor is who has changed it since. Filtering by either shows you how their content is performing.
