Download Content to View Offline
If your work takes you where the signal does not, you can download your training in the Skyllful Simulator app before you go, complete it with no connection at all, and let it catch up when you are back in coverage.
Why would you download your training?
Because a loading spinner in a basement, a warehouse aisle or a rural service call is not training, it is a wasted twenty minutes.
The Skyllful Simulator app can hold your assigned training on your device. Download it while you have a connection, and you can work through it later with no connection at all. Your progress is kept on the phone and sent to Skyllful the next time you are back in coverage.
Note: This is an app capability. If you use Skyllful Simulator in a web browser, there is nothing to download and you need to stay online.
What should you do before you lose signal?
Think of it as packing. The rule is simple: anything you might work on today, download before you leave coverage.

Best practice: Download more than you think you will finish. Downloading costs you nothing but a little space, and being one Lesson short in the middle of nowhere costs you the trip.
How do you work offline?
Once your content is on the device, put the app into offline mode and work as you normally would. The Lessons behave exactly the same. Your answers, your progress and your completions are all recorded on the phone.
Note: Only what you downloaded will open. Content you did not download is still listed, but tapping it will not start anything until you are back online. This is the single thing that surprises people, and it is why the packing step matters.
What happens when you reconnect?
Your activity is sent to Skyllful on its own, without you doing anything. Once it has, your completions appear in History and reach your manager.

How do you free up space?
Downloaded training takes room on your device, and training you have finished is not doing anything useful. You can review what you have saved and remove what you no longer need. Anything you delete can be downloaded again later, as long as you have a connection when you do it.
FAQ
Do I have to download anything? No. If you always have a signal, ignore all of this and work online.
How do I know something downloaded? The download control changes once the content is on your device. Check before you leave coverage rather than after.
Will I lose my progress if I work offline? No. It is held on your phone and sent when you reconnect.
I deleted something I still need. Now what? Download it again while you have a connection.
Why can I see a Lesson but not open it? You are offline and that Lesson was not downloaded. Reconnect, or open something you did download.
Does downloading use my data allowance? It uses whatever connection you are on. If that matters, download on wifi before you set off.
