Design Prompt Window in Lesson Builder
In Skyllful Studio's Lesson Builder, Content Developers and Instructional Designers can style an individual prompt window (its spotlight background, outline, dialog background, and prompt text colors) so a single Lesson step draws the learner's attention exactly where you want it.
How do you design a prompt window for a step?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | In Lesson Builder, open the step you want to style and go to its design settings. |
| 2 | Select a Spotlight Background. You can choose a light or dark background. |
| 3 | To add an outline border, check the Spotlight Outline box. You can also set the border width in pixels and choose the color, either by entering a hex code or picking from the color grid. |
| 4 | Select a Dialog Background. You can choose light, dark, or custom. You can also personalize the color of the prompt text. |
| 5 | Select Update to save your changes. Note: To keep every prompt in a Learning Program consistent, set a program-wide default first (see Default Prompt Style). To copy this look to every step in the Lesson at once, see Apply Prompt Style to Entire Lesson.
What if the prompt window does not update?
Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
