Custom Views
By default the Skyllful IQ dashboard shows All Learners, and this article shows administrators and managers how to create Custom Views that filter analytics by criteria such as market or role.
What are Custom Views?
Skyllful IQ bases its analytics on assignments, and by default the dashboard shows data for All Learners. A Custom View lets you filter that data — by criteria such as market or role — so you see only the insights that matter to you. Your Custom Views live in the Views tile on the dashboard.
How do you create a Custom View?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | From your IQ dashboard, locate the Views tile and select an empty Custom View tile to begin. |
| 2 | Name your view something descriptive. Example: Houston Drivers. |
| 3 | Apply filter criteria using the dropdown menus and radio buttons. Select one option per category (for example, Market and Role) and combine filters across categories — for example, Market: Houston and Role: Delivery Drivers. |
| 4 | Click Apply. Your new view is saved and appears as a tile at the top of your dashboard. |
How do you switch between views?
The Custom View currently applied appears as a blue tile. To switch, click the tile of the view you want; every data lens on your dashboard updates to reflect it.
How do you edit or delete a view?
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Edit | Click the arrow in the bottom-right corner of a view tile to rename it or change its filters. |
| Delete | Select the trash icon on the tile. At least one view must remain active. |
What's a good way to name views?
Name views by location, role, or team function — such as "Nashville Dispatch" or "Warehouse Leads" — to keep your dashboard organized and easy to navigate.
