Courses group related Modules and Lessons into learning paths inside a Learning Program, and this article explains what they are, why they matter, how to access them, and the Courses menu options, for Administrators.
What are Courses?
Courses group related Lessons and Modules together—like folders inside your Learning Program that align with a job path or training track. Each Course contains Modules (built around learning objectives), and each Module contains Lessons.
- Group content by process, topic, or job path
- Connect Modules and Lessons under a unified learning objective
- Keep assignments manageable with relevant, bite-sized content
- Track performance and Learner progress at the course level
Why do Courses matter?

| Learners | Related content is grouped, so Learners see what to learn and in what order—reducing confusion and keeping them on track. |
| Administrators | Large Learning Programs stay manageable; organize by workflow, job role, or topic to assign, update, and track more efficiently. |
How do you access Courses?
Option 1: From the Home Screen

| 1 | Select your Learning Program. |
| 2 | Click the Course you want to open from the Course card. |
Option 2: From the Skyllful menu
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Click the Hamburger menu in the top-left corner. |
| 2 | Choose your Learning Program. |
| 3 | Select Studio > Courses Overview. |
What’s in the Courses menu?
| Function | What happens |
|---|---|
| Edit | Edit thumbnails, titles, and descriptions. |
| Archive | Deactivates the Course, Module, or Lesson. This can’t be reversed from within the Skyllful UI. |
| Assign | Opens the assignment interface. |
| Duplicate | Creates an identical copy of the Course, Module, or Lesson. |
| Publish | Publishes the Course, Module, or Lesson so it can be assigned to Learners. |
| Unpublish | Removes it from the learning environment and re-enables editing. |
| Follow / Unfollow | Subscribes or unsubscribes the user to notifications, including email. |
