Studio uses comments and notifications to help course designers and stakeholders collaborate, and this article shows Content Developers and Instructional Designers how to leave comments, view notifications, and follow content.
How do you leave a comment on a step?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Click the comment icon for the relevant step. |
| 2 | Type your comment and click [Send]. |
| 3 | Find the comment again from the step’s menu. |
Where do notifications appear?
| Location | What appears |
|---|---|
| Lessons panel | A bubble for comments and approvals or unapprovals on a Lesson. |
| Program Notifications bell | Notifications that apply at the Program level. |
How do you enable notifications?
Follow a Course, Module, or Lesson to receive its notifications:

| Courses Overview | Use the more-options kebab menu (•••) on a Course, Module, or Lesson to follow or unfollow it. |
| Lesson Builder (Changelog) | Click the bell icon to follow or unfollow the Lesson. |
What if it doesn’t work as expected?
Contact your Local Administrator first. If your Local Administrator cannot resolve the issue, submit a case through the Skyllful support portal.
