Assignments Overview
Assignments are how administrators connect Skyllful training content to specific groups of learners, defining what learners receive, how their progress is tracked, and when they must finish.
What is an assignment?
An assignment brings four elements together so the right training reaches the right people:

| Group of Learners | Who the assignment targets, usually segmented by role, location, or tags. |
| Learning Data Settings | The engagement and progress metrics tracked through Skyllful IQ. |

What are the assignment types?

How should you structure your assignments?
Many teams create one comprehensive New Hire assignment and add learners as they join, then use duration settings to give different groups their own completion windows. Do not let the template names limit you, and use tags to group learners flexibly.
