Analyze Lesson Performance
The Lessons Dashboard and its four connected tools show you where learners struggle inside a Lesson, one step at a time, so you can fix content instead of guessing. This index explains when and why to use each tool and the order that turns the data into an improvement.
What does "Analyze Lesson Performance" cover?
The Lessons Dashboard is a tool inside Skyllful Studio that shows how Learners are doing in each Lesson, step by step. The percentages and colors point you to the exact steps where Learners tap the wrong thing, so you can improve the instruction, the screen, or the design before more Learners hit the same wall.
This is your quality-assurance loop after a Lesson is live: the dashboard tells you where the problem is, and the connected tools tell you why.
When should you use these tools?
- After a Lesson has been published long enough to collect Learner attempts.
- When completion or readiness numbers look off and you need to know which Lesson, and which step, is responsible.
- After you revise a Lesson, to confirm the change actually reduced errors.
- As a routine check on your highest-stakes or highest-volume Lessons.

What order should you work in?
- Open the Lessons Dashboard from your Learning Program and scan the grid for red and yellow cells.
- Use Total Incorrect and Total Attempts together to separate a genuinely difficult step from one that is simply attempted often.
- Click a red step cell to open the Heatmap Viewer and see where Learners actually tapped relative to the correct control.
- Decide whether the instruction, the screen, or the step design needs work, and revise the Lesson.
- After the revision publishes, return to the Lesson Versions Dashboard to confirm the new version performs better than the old one.
