Add Lesson to an Assignment from Lesson Builder
Content developers can add a finished lesson to an existing or new assignment straight from Lesson Builder using the Distribute option.
How do you add a lesson from Lesson Builder?
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | In Lesson Builder, make sure your lesson is complete and ready to publish. |
| 2 | In the bottom-right corner, click Distribute to open the Distribution Options for Lesson window. |
| 3 | Select one or more target assignments with the radio button beside each. |
| 4 | Choose which lesson modes to enable: Video, Walkthrough, Practice, or Knowledge Check. |
| 5 | To add the lesson to a brand-new assignment, click the plus (+) icon in the top-right to create one here. |
| 6 | Click Update to finalize. |

How do I push a lesson into an assignment? In Lesson Builder, click Distribute, select the target assignment and modes, then click Update.
Can I create a new assignment from Lesson Builder? Yes. Use the plus icon in the Distribution Options window to create one on the spot.
Can one lesson go into several assignments? Yes. Select more than one assignment in the Distribution Options window.
